We are a team of people working together to help promote the
mission of Sammy’s House. Our teachers, board of directors, advisory
committee and numerous volunteers strive to provide the most
nurturing and developmentally stimulating environment for our
children. DirectorIsabel Huerta, is the Founder and Executive Director of Sammy’s House. With 7 years of direct childcare experience with both typical and special needs children. As the sole opperator of Sammy’s House as an in-home family daycare, she instigated many of the practices that are the cornerstone of Sammy’s House curriculum and practices that include performing assessments, assisting with therapy goals, and providing respite care. She has been awarded the MAdeline Sutherland award from the Austin Association for the Education of Young Children (AAEYC) for excellence in care of special needs children.TeachersAll the teachers at Sammy’s House are dedicated to helping all our children grow and advance through individualized curriculum and personal attention due to our small class sizes.
